Brevi Bag Workshop
Friday, April 10th at 6:00 pm
Join us for a Brevi Bag Workshop: Folk Southern Italian Protection Amulet
An evening of ritual, wine, antipasti, and community
Brevi bags are a form of personalized medicine.
A small cloth amulet made to hold a prayer—created for protection, healing, or a specific moment in your life or the life of a loved one that needs support.
This practice comes from Southern Italian folk traditions where ritual, herbs, and intention are used to create something you don't just believe in—you carry.
In this workshop, we will:
Share traditional food and drink together
Make something with each other, for each other
Let intention build collectively
You will learn how to make a functional ritual object that holds.
We will walk through the tradition's roots, then you'll create Brevi Bags with intention.
Wine + antipasti included.
Cost: $65, which includes all materials, a curated selection of imported Southern Italian wines, and antipasti sourced from local makers to be shared together.
With Lizzy McDonald, Italian American, rooted in Southern Italian traditions, and founder of The New Body.
